Beautifully contrasting specimen of pink Rhodochrosite on black Sphalerite from the Trepca Orebody Complex, Kosovo. Classic saddle habit crystals of lustrous Rhodochrosite are abundantly intergrown, and display stepped parallel formation. On a well-formed dome of intergrown bright Sphalerite crystals, with some crystals of pale metallic yellow Pyrite. A super specimen from the mining area.
