NATIVE Arsenic on Pyrargyrite
This excellent Native Arsenic sits on a thin bed of an unidentified light tan matrix, possibly Siderite. To one side is an 8 x 5 mm mass of burnt-red, granular Pyrargyrite, a silver antimony sulphosalt, also termed a silver sulphantimonide. Although this specimen is only recorded as from the P?'bram, it has all the characteristics of specimens from the Uranium mine No. 21 (Shaft No. 21) at H'je in the P?'bram District, Czech Republic. The Native Arsenic forms distinct spherical botryoidal mounds, some elongated, of a metallic dark-grey, but with subtle hints of burnished bronze. A super small miniature.
