Another classic from Tsumeb mine - Malachite pseudomorphs after Azurite crystals. Usually, these occur as single crystals either on, or off matrix. In this instance, a fan-like group of well-formed Azurite crystals to just over 4 cm in length have been entirely replaced by Malachite dark green silky Malachite. The crystals present a lovely shape, maintaining their monoclinic form, and with very little abrasion apart from one area on the tip of the smallest crystal.
