Baia Sprie mine, also known as Fels'b'nya mine, in Romania is famous for hosting over ninety mineral species, one of its most famous and impressive being the antimony trisulfide Stibnite. If you have been looking for a good example from this locality then look no further. This magnificent slightly splayed group of silver-white metallic crystals is spectacular and are enhanced even further by a rich scattering of glassy translucent colourless to milky tabular Baryte crystals overgrowing the Stibnite. The longest Stibnite crystals measure an amazing 16.3 cm, this alone giving a good idea of just how superb and spectacular this specimen is.
