This is from 1980s or early 90s production of tourmaline at the famous Mawi pegmatite mines and is an unusually aesthetic and balanced miniature. It is easy to get single crystals, not so much for matrix specimens! This piece features exquisite gem crystals of tourmaline to 4.2 cm, in a tight and aesthetic cluster that is good all around, 360 degrees.
