An excellent, gemmy crystal of andalusite a well-known location in Brazil that has intermittently produced some exceptional pegmatite species - of which these are among the most rare. This is a large crystal for the style, with total transparency! . The 3.8 x 1.6 x 0.7 cm gemmy crystal has a pretty greenish-yellow hue especially when backlit.
