Brilliant orange hoppered mimetite from the Pingtouling Mine in China. This is a large single crystal from the find back in 2002, where only two pockets were found and then released in Tucson in 2003. The luster is incredible and almost looks wet, especially on the top face. The mimetites from Pingtouling are already contemporary classics and will only get harder to get as the years go by with no production.
