Olivenite (Illustrated!)$500.00

Wire transfers available, to set up
This is a particularly fantastic olivenite from Nevada. Lustrous, dark forest green crystals on a slim limonite matrix set this example apart from other olivenites. A choice thumbnail from the thumbnail collection of Martin C. Jensen (b. 1959) of Reno, Nevada, USA. He is not only a mineral collector, but an SEM specialist at the Mackay School of Mines, and has contributed multiple studies on localities in the western United States. The mineral species Jensenite is named in his honor. Self-collected by Martin. Pictured: Rock ’N Gem magazine, Jan-Feb 2025 “The Other Copper Minerals: 12 Lesser-known collectable species.”
