Londonite on Feldspar$1,500.00

Wire transfers available, to set up
From the TYPE LOCALITY, and really the only locality for such crystals of unusual form and color (they look like yellow garnets!) this cesium-dominant variety of the Londonite-Rhodizite Series is a large and impressive 2.4 cm. Londonite was not named until 2001, and remains rare today; these old finds were the best and not superseded since the early 2000s. This excellent, translucent-to-gemmy yellow crystal sits perfectly in a Feldspar matrix. Sharp and lustrous except only a few tiny spots of wear at close inspection, the Londonite has the weak, yellow-green fluorescence that is classic for the species, while the Felspar has more of a vivid, white fluorescence.
