Very aesthetic and lustrous, radial Prehnite aggregate is highlighted by a collar of white, fine grained Quartz. The pale green Prehnite hemisphere measures 3.8cm across and is composed of divergent, blades nearly 2cm in length and approximately 2mm in width that reflect any incident light as you rotate the piece! Attractive! Ex. Mervyn Ford collection with label. Ford was a well known English collector specializing in miniatures. You can get bigger specimens, more different shapes, but this is a unique radial pinwheel on matrix - a perfect miniature!
