A SHARP sodalite crystal, 1.8 cm in length, sits on unusual matrix here! The sodalite crystal is equant and doubly terminated, lustrous and translucent and is colored a light purple color. A lustrous and translucent, light yellow, striated crystal of richterite, a rare member of the amphibole group and measuring 2.5 cm across, forms the matrix for this uncommon and aesthetic combination.
