Malachite ps. Azurite on Plancheite (Illustrated!)
This is both a crazy combination specimen and a great pseudomorph from the now famous Milpillas Mine in Mexico noted for its fantastic Azurite specimens. This was once one of those Azurite specimens but it is now a cluster of former Azurite crystals that have been replaced by green Malachite. And if that wasn't enough, the pseudomorph cluster is displayed prominently on a matrix of bright, sky blue Plancheite! This is a cabinet-sized specimen so with its striking color contrast and textures it displays prominently! Individual Malachite after Azurite pseudos measure up to 4 cm across. A unique and attractive combination specimen from Milpillas with a lot of size and mass! from finds of approximately 2013-2015.
