Elbaite
A big fat tourmaline from old finds, probably 1970s or even 60s. The piece is actually quite translucent despite its thickness, though this is more obvious in person. The termination is complete except for a tiny chip in the back edge, and has some luster if not the best. The bottom is actually ALSO complete, and terminated, so this is a floater! 180 grams in weight.
