Wulfenite
Lovely cluster of well-defined Wulfenite blades (largest crystal about .7 cm on edge) from one of the best new localities in the world. The crystals have superb luster and color on the front side, with the backs having a very unusual preferential white coating that adds color and contrast. As with virtually all Wulfenite specimens, there is some blade damage that just blends right in without even being noticed - and here it is really minimal from the front. Overall, an attractive and aesthetic specimen that most of us who saw hundreds of these regarded as the best thumbnail of the find present at Tucson.
