Pyrite on Quartz

A stunning piece with a razor sharp, 5 cm pyrite crystal of the highest luster you could imagine, perched smartly in the middle of well trimmed quartz matrix. The pyrite has a small contact in back and is otherwise complete all around. The association and aesthetics of this piece are breathtaking to me in person. It really does look fake.
