Wavellite
Some of the largest and most displayable specimens of Wavellite have come from the Siglo XX mine in Bolivia as described by Mark Bandy. This piece does not disappoint with several, fine, lustrous, yellow/cream color, sphere-shaped radiating aggregate measuring up to 1.1 cm and gem clear Quartz crystal matrix. The luster is excellent on this one, and not at all dull like so many can be. This specimen was collected in September of 2008.
