Azurite, Malachite, Bayldonite
An old-time, excellent combination specimen from the Tsumeb Mine. Lustrous, midnight-blue azurite blades are richly and aesthetically scattered, along with a bit of darker green malachite on the matrix of solid, lighter green bayldonite. This is a fine, two-sided piece, as there is a vug on the back with azurite and malachite. Ex. H. Westenberger Collection and comes with a paper label glued to the piece in German, that indicates the piece dates to circa 1930, from the upper oxidized zone of this renowned locale.
