Mimetite (old find)
Known for wulfenite, mimetite is a rarity here and this is one of the richest such specimens we have seen. It came out of several older collections including Bill Leach; Larner Peak; Ann Williams; and then to Mark Hay, who sold it to Bruce Murphy. An old specimen, with at least one label dating to 1976 noting its history, and featuring a highly unusual rich carpet of solid red mimetite, from the famous Red Cloud Mine.
