Apophyllite-(Kf), Quartz
Very fine cluster of large gemmy Apophyllites perched on two slender Quartz stalactites. Very unusual. The Apophyllites, the largest of which is 4.8 cm, are gemmy, highly lustrous, and mostly doubly-terminated. The terminations range from pointed to chisel (cleaved?), and are uniformly sharp and attractive. Ex. Steve Smale Collection.
