Azurite, Malachite
Amongst all the now-familiar plates of azurite microcrystals or flat plates of isolated/bladed crystals coming from Anhui Province in China was this fabulous 3-dimensional specimen consisting of books of deep blue crystals in staggered sheaves, thus far very unusual from the Chinese finds. It is completely crystallized all around. THIS IS QUITE SIMPLY ONE OF THE BEST AZUREITES I HAVE YET SEEN FROM CHINA! IT IS MESMERIZING, SHARP, AND GLOWS WITH COLOR! 5.2 x 5.0 x 4.3 cm
