Rhodochrosite
An excellent, rich and showy rhodochrosite specimen from a classic German locale - the Wolf Mine in Siegerland. The three vugs in the sculptural box-work of limonite are beautifully lined with lustrous, rose-red rhodochrosite scalenohedrons to 4 mm. The two hedgehog sprays in the deep vug are classic and mesmerizing. Ex. Don Boydston Collection and comes with an Anton Berger label, well-known Austrian mineral dealers from the 1920s-1950s.
