Pink Apophyllite
Pink Apophyllite is very rare in nature, with just a few pockets in India and Mexico, and recently one from China. This is from a surprising find of about 2010, which had big robust crystals such as you see here. In person, the color is a pleasing pink, hard to relate in photos. The luster is fantastic and very sparkly and bright! This is a large and showy specimen, that is truly much better in person; and the species is one which although common worldwide, is actually very rare from Mexico and unlikely to be found in most collections.
