Gemmy and lustrous, sparkling burnt orange spessartine garnets cover the feldspar matrix on this fine, 3-dimensional specimen from recent finds at Tongbei, China. The three smoky quartz crystals are a nice accent and you can see where the garnets have totally encrusted blocky feldspar crystals to 3.3 cm.
