Anhydrite
Although once fairly plentiful at least in smaller sizes only 10-20 years ago, this anhydrite specimen would nevertheless be considered huge for the locality AND to be of a quality very rare both then and now. The light blue-gray color is especially attractive. The large crystal terminates in a series of pyramids and has a matte luster. The smaller crystal, which is 6 cm long, terminates in a highly lustrous pinacoid. Overall, it is a striking piece of a species that usually isn't all that displayable. Stands upright, on its own, due to the nice broad base 13.8 x 6.8 x 5.8 cm
