Description
Chalcoalumite is a rare copper, aluminum sulfate and the Copper Queen Mine is the type locality. This sculptural, elongated crust is covered with pretty, powder-blue, bubbly, botryoidal chalcoalumite. There is even some azurite and malachite on the underside. Undoubtedly old material, dating from the late 1800s-early 1900s, but no proof. Ex. Dennis Mullane Bisbee Collection.
