Cuprite on Malachite
A dramatic specimen that is composed as if a piece of art, with the sharp 1.5-cm-across cuprite sitting on a felted green carpet of malachite. It is razor sharp, and blood red when backlit well. This is old material from the 1980s. The piece is complete save only a small contact in back. It displays superbly on a shelf.
