Baryte
A HUGE specimen of lustrous, golden Baryte from new mining at the Meikle! The crystals are up to 4 cm across, and show fine transparency. There are broken crystals, but they are (save for one in the front-left) on the upper back side as the specimen is displayed in the photo, so that you will not see them if you display the specimen as I would, tipped slightly back with the best crystals along the top of the "ridge" so that you can see right through them. From the front, then, it looks glowing and wonderful. 18 x 8 x 6.5 cm
