Baryte
Although common enough from this locale, most baryte roses are not much to write home about. This one is actually quite nice for several reasons: good color, very aesthetic sculptural form, and it is a pristine floater. These form as baryte crystals grow in the presence of the sand, and include sand particles inside during that growth. They are baryte by heft, but have a sandy texture to them. Ex. Harold Urish Collection.
