Calcite (fluorescent)
Extremely unusual, old-time set of stacked, and en-echelon, hexagonal Calcites from the Samson Mine. These silky Calcites are quite sharp, and form two attached totems with a central strand in each. The complex crystals are translucent to gemmy, and fluorescent. Undoubtedly mined at least 150 years ago, this exceptional small cab was owned by well-known mineral dealer W.J. Knowlton in the mid-1800s. Quite aesthetic. #11054 in Kay's collection.
