Spodumene var. Kunzite
A classic Brazilian Kunzite specimen showing interesting hydrothermal etching on the glassy faces of this uniquely-shaped crystal. Pristine! The piece is a floater with no point of attachment and it radiates a lovely pastel pink color that is much more intense when viewed down the long axis. Gorgeous! The Kunzite is incredibly lustrous and 100% gem! The termination, as with the remainder of the crystal, exhibits dissolution producing small, unique, geometric, triangular to pyramidal patterns. This elegant Kunzite originates from one of the great finds at the Urucum Mine in 1998. Ex. Herb Obodda collection #1942. 39.4 grams
