I have greatly slowed my buying of these as the prices have risen a lot lately, but still pick them up when reasonable because they will not last forever and have represented some of the greatest bargains in the mineral world over the past few years. spessartines are historically rare but now, for a small window, are available in quantity for the first time ever. This large plate is not distinguished by the SIZE of its spessartines, but by their bright gemminess and beautiful coverage on the matrix; not packed wall-to-wall, but isolated and allowing matrix to show between them, which makes this piece far more attractive than your average Tongbei plate.
