Anglesite Pseudomorph After Pyromorphite
This specimen is the only one I have seen of its type. However, upon investigation, I found that approximately 100 specimens were collected in the late 1960s and Reno dealer Jack Crowley dispersed them at the time. Jack has told me that this would be a very good one from the find, and that it remains a one-pocket occurrence. It is a fascinating pseudomorph from a locality near the famous Bunker Hill Mine that seems to have produced only a few oddities like this and no display-quality pyromorphite in and of itself, comapred to its neighbor
