Calcite Var. Cobaltian
From recent finds in 2012-2013, this is a spectacularly color-saturated and well-crystallized calcite with excellent aesthetics. Most were flat plates, of this style of crystallization, or knobs with damage. This is somewhere in between, with a 3-dimensional and rolling surface. Joe Budd photos.
