Beryl Var Emerald
The stunning glassiness and clarity of the best Chivor emeralds sets them apart from emeralds of the other local mines. They tend to be a little bit darker in color (forest evergreen), but also a bit sharper and brighter inside. This piece is a beautiful single gem crystal, 36 carats, with inclusions of calcite and minute sparkling pyrite crystals.
