Malachite, Azurite
This super-rich Bisbee specimen was very hard to photograph in a way that does not make it look jumbly and amorphous. In person, you can very clearly distinguish the individual very large azurite crystals that have been pseudomorphed by shimmering "velvet" malachite. One of them, what appears anyway to be a single crystal, measures over 5 cm across. It is unclear whether the original azurite has been entirely, or only partially, replaced. The malachite is in the form of thousands of filament-like, massed micro-crystals.
