Topaz
This doubly terminated, glassy and gemmy, champagne-colored topaz crystal has tiny bits of matrix adhering to it. It has an interesting lateral inclusion that looks like a tourmaline in the photos, but is actually a refraction off an internal cleavage plane or indeed a thin layer of some inclusion - I am not sure and it is highly unusual in any case. The face centered crystal has a mass of 65 grams. From the famous gem gravels of Mogok, it is hard to find such pristine, non-tumbled crystals!
