Stibnite
An aesthetic and vintage plate of bladed, metallic Stibnites, this is a classic. The luster of these Stibnites is very good, and you can see occasional flashes of blue and gold off of the terminations as the piece is turned in the light. The blades average over 1-2 cm tall, the longest being slightly over 2 cm, with varying widths. These Romanian Stibnites are classic, old European material, not to be compared on the same level to the far-more-common Chinese stuff available today! Aesthetic and substantial, this is a quality, highly representative piece for this well-known locality. It is certainly older, from the 1900s, though we cannot date it otherwise.
