Superb aesthetics highlight this great and rare combination piece from the Annabel Lee mine! I have never seen another specimen with such a nice, isolated celestite from this mine, and the contrasts of it set against the yellow, spikey calcites are just amazing. The bladed, 4 cm Celestine is exceptionally fine, and the Calcites are nearly as good (nearly all of the tips are pristine, even). This was collected in 1994 during advanced mining, and was saved because of the superior Celestine crystal. The pics tell the story nicely! Another unique combination specimen from the Ross Lillie collection, and you can see that he specialized in superb combinations and eccentricities more than simply "expensive minerals" only. In person, the calcites have a bit more orange than appears here.
