Baryte
A GORGEOUS, GEM-LIKE, golden-amber baryte crystal with a SUPERB, complex, flattened, chisel termination. This is CLASSIC, OLD-TIME English material from the less well-known Silverband Mine, Westmorland, Cumbria. The termination of this water-clear jewel looks just like a fine topaz crystal from Virgem da Lapa. Very nearly pristine, with only a super-trivial termination bruise and one tiny spot of side edge wear. Ex. George Elling Collection.
