Smoky Quartz on Adularia
A simply classic Swiss smoky, but ON MATRIX which is not so common. This is a really well-balanced piece with robust, upright crystals. Notice the chlorite frosting oriented on selected faces, typical of many Swiss quartzes. From the Schortmann's famous Hotel Lexington exhibitions held in NYC yearly, 1952.
