Quartz (Scepter)
Photos are difficult to convey the lustrous surface and "undulations" of this unusual vertical quartz specimen. It was collected in the Austrian alps sometime in the early 2000's, and was brought to market by Anton Watzl at the time at one of the Munich shows. Purchased by USA quartz collector Rick Hottel, and now long in his collection, I still have not seen more of such habit since that time.
