Barytocalcite
These are exceedingly rare crystals of this rare barium, calcium, carbonate from the type locality: Blaigill Mine, Alston Moor, Cumbria. This specimen features glassy and gemmy, colorless, barytocalcite crystals to 1.25 cm in length, nestled in a vug. Collected on the high level dump in 1970 by Lindsay Greenbank after years of work (with Richard Barstow) to rediscover this old and long lost locality. Rare and fine, this is quite displayable. Illustrated in the Greenbank Collection book, page 62
