Quartz Var. Amethyst
An old classic, rarely seen on the market today! Perched aesthetically on a matrix of light smoky quartz crystals is a sceptered, intensely color zoned amethyst crystal with three distinct terminations. The amethyst measures 3.5 cm across, and exhibits good luster and translucence along with a rich color. Very minor bruising on the tips of the terminations is of little consequence to it as a display specimen, and for this old material it actually is in quite surprisingly good condition.
