Azurite, Malachite
A very aesthetic and fine specimen of remarkably gemmy and lustrous, azure-blue azurite crystals richly set on and around very sparkly, malachite pseudomorphs after azurite crystals on a very 3-dimensional, vuggy, gossan matrix from Concepcion del Oro, Mexico. Specimens of this quality mostly came out the 1950s, so this is old-time, showy material. Ex. John Ydren Collection.
