Beautiful pair of glassy, straw-yellow Barytes from the famous Frizington locality. Both of these parallel-growth crystals have gemmy, chisel-point terminations, and the luster is as gleaming as you can possibly imagine. English Barytes, particularly from Frizington, have a storied history, with many of these classics having been mined in the 1800s from this extinct iron mine. Impressive and aesthetic Frizington Barytes such as this small cab have always been in great demand and do not often come available, especially in this quality.
