Malachite
Though Rum Jungle is well-known as a malachite locality, you do not see that many specimens around. This is an older specimen out of the collection of Jaime Bird. Its fibrous (massed acicular) internal crystallization has formed finger-like structures. A label accompanying this specimen said 1973, which marks the date of acquisition, but it is unclear when the specimen actually came out.
