Calcite
A striking Sweetwater specimen for many reasons. One, the golden calcite is complete, pristine, doubly-terminated and sits perfectly upright and fully exposed on the matrix. For another, it has this sharply-defined phantom inside, the front face of the inner crystal having been coated with a dark mineral so it really stands out. The calcite measures 8 cm.
