Goethite, Gypsum (Var: Selenite)
Goethite comes in so many forms, sometimes just ugly and boring, other times just plain WEIRD. This type from Chihuahua falls into the "weird" category - a pocket of piled-up, hollow stalactitic tubes as it has cast and replaced selenite, with the luster and color of chocolate. Acquired by B.E. Lockhart in 1972.
