Description
Chalcoalumite is a rare copper, aluminum sulfate and the historic Copper Queen Mine is the Type Locality. This sculptural large cabinet specimen is covered with pretty, powder-blue, bubbly, botryoidal chalcoalumite. The two vugs in the front and the unexpected vug on the back are highlights. Extremely rich and undoubtedly old material, dating from the late 1800s-early 1900s, but no proof. Ex. Dennis Mullane Bisbee Collection.
