Sulfur

Elemental sulfur in crystals this size, to 5.5 cm in length, are fairly rare, and will be harder to find in time considering the demise of Italy's famous sulfur deposits. This lovely group has rich golden-yellow color, transparent and lustrous crystals of size, along with an aesthetic size and arrangement. Together these qualities make this piece very choice. It is nearly complete all around with just a small bit of contact at the lower periphery and only very miniscule wear - remarkable, for a mineral of such fragility and softness. The being said, it is a sturdy specimen with phenomenal showmanship.
